ACCIONA Infrastructure is the longest standing company in the ACCIONA Group, founded in 1850 and firmly established in Spain. On an international level, it has developed and participated in some of the most significant projects in the world and is well-established in strategic markets such as Poland, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Canada and Australia.
This ACCIONA division carries out its activities along two main business lines: public works and building. It covers all aspects of construction, from engineering to execution of works and their maintenance. It also has a number of special support units such as mechanical structure workshops, machinery services, infrastructure maintenance, installations and engineering, as well as concessions management.
At the end of 2010, as a result of the merger between the engineering companies AEPO S.A. and Ibérica de Estudios e Ingeniería S.A. (IBERINSA) ACCIONA Engineering was established. Both companies bring to the new one more than half a century of leadership in civil, industrial and environmental engineering, as well as experience in architecture.

ACCIONA Infrastructure carries out all of its activities taking into account environmental, social and economic factors. It has at its disposal the very latest technologies for the development and application of the most advanced materials and the most sustainable constructive processes.
This is possible thanks to its intense and continuous research activities, which have placed the Company at the forefront of innovation and have made it the European leader in technology application, with the largest R&D and Innovation Technology Center in terms of resources and projects officially approved by European, Latin American and Spanish programs.
